Eggless Chocolate Pear Cake

I didnt bake anything since last week, everyone at home started asking wat happened to me, y am not baking anything since a week?? even i doesnt know wat happened to me..after a week, i prepared again a chocolate cake with pears...i used to make tarts with pears, as cake i never tried pears alone usually i will add few apple pieces with pear pieces...this time i want to prepare just with pear pieces...I used vinegar as egg substitute in this cake else i followed everything as usual...This is my one more entry for Egg Substitute-Vinegar by Madhu of Eggless cooking...

2cups All purpose flour
1cup Sugar
1cup Dark chocolate pieces
2tbsp Margarine
1/2cup Canola oil
1tbsp Apple cider vinegar
1tsp Baking Soda
1tsp Baking powder
1cup Milk
2nos Pear
1tbsp All purpose flour

Peel the skin n chop the pears as medium size pieces, mix the one tablespoon of all purpose flour along with pear pieces n keep aside...mix together all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder in a large bowl..meanwhile preheat the oven at 350F... microwave the chocolate pieces with margarine for 3 minutes in high temperature...beat the chocolate n margarine with a fork until they get well mixed..

Whisk together sugar, canola oil, chocolate-margarine mixture, vinegar with milk until everything get well mixed...add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients n mix everything well...gently fold the pear pieces into the batter with a spatula...Grease a cake mould n pour the cake batter..bake for 30 minutes r until the skewer inserted come out clean..

Let them cool for few minutes...Enjoy the delicious eggless chocolate pear cake!!!

delicious looking cake. looks very rich..

priya, if you don't mind can i tell you something?

all purpose flour is very very bad for health. i am not sure if you know that. it will increase cholestrol, sugar and all other diseased associated with it. I am not telling you not to bake. but you can choose some alternative ingredient like whole wheat pastry flour instead of maida. I am telling you this because I care about you and your passion for cooking. Why cook with something bad for health?

hope u didn't mind my advice. I would advice all my friends to avoid all purpose flour. Anything white is not good for health...
